A New Way to Get Weird - Devlog #4
Hey y'all! Minor update in today's devlog, since I haven't had as much time to work on refining the system itself recently. I have been working on some larger updates, though those are still a bit away. I hope everyone who's had a chance to play the most recent version of Journeys Weird and Winding has enjoyed getting weird. The group of players I've been doing most of my playtesting with are currently trapped deep below ground in a tomb where they just cannot stop upsetting the local gnome population and reviving the long-dead corpses of ancient soldiers, so everything is going according to plan.
A general update on the game's release, I recently launched a page for JWAW on drivethrurpg if that's a place where you like to find rpgs. I also uploaded an update to the core system earlier today, making this Version 1.1.4. It's an extra page with some additional rules for bringing the dangers of magick even closer to Players' moment-to-moment experience. You can check out the page with the full break-down of all that in the screenshot included with this post before downloading the updated game to see how it plays out in your campaign. Either way, I'd love to hear what you think!
That's all for today. Thanks again for playing and I hope y'all stay weird.
